Biography
Dr. Amy Denman, CTN, CNHP, MH, has dedicated more than twenty years to helping people achieve a healthier lifestyle. Born and raised in upstate New York, Dr. Denman's first health-related job experience was working as a child birth educator, eventually going on to become a lay-midwife in California.
A Certified Traditional Naturopath (CTN), Dr. Denman spent over six years in the alternative healthcare field promoting the Cancer Prevention Coalition founded by Dr. Samuel Epstein, and endorsing non-toxic personal care products advocated by Dr. Epstein.
Dr. Denman has traveled extensively educating the public on the dangers of cancer-causing chemicals found in our everyday personal care products, and has counseled individuals on natural alternatives.
A Certified Natural Health Professional (CNHP), Dr. Denman has earned certificates in Nutrition, Bodyworks and, ultimately, achieved a degree in Naturopathy and a Masters in Herbology (MH). She is also a Certified Colon Hydrotherapist.
Co-founder of A Creating Wellness Center in Mooresville, NC, Dr. Denman is a certified NAET® (Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Technique) practitioner, having been personally trained by Dr. Devi S. Nambudripad, MD, DC, LAc, PhD.
Dr. Denman enjoys helping people overcome their health problems through the use of BioElectrical Impedance Measurement, person-specific nutritional recommendations, proper digestive support, allergy/sensitivity elimination techniques, and various health-restoring detoxification therapies.
A practitioner member of the American Naturopathic Medical Association, Dr. Denman is also a professional member of the American Association of Nutritional Consultants and the Coalition for Natural Health.
